CARA (Cautioning and Relationship Abuse)

CARA was developed by Hampshire Police and The Hampton Trust in 2011 as a lower risk intervention for first time DA offenders. Their work has been monitored and evaluated nationally with outstanding results.

It supports offenders in understanding what domestic abuse is, the harm their actions have caused and the impact this has had on their partners, children and relationships.

The work focuses on how to make different choices going forward and prevent these harmful behaviours from becoming more entrenched.

We are pleased to have been selected as a delivery partner by Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire Police Crime Commissioners.

Referrals are made by Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire police for standard risk first time offenders.

Workshops

The Change Project deliver workshops on Saturdays in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
