We’re proud to offer specialist support around one of the most complex and under-explored areas in domestic abuse practice: Dual and Counter Allegations.

This work is led by our own Zara Travers, who has over a decade of frontline and strategic experience across the VAWG sector. Zara has worked directly with victims, perpetrators, youths and young people, bringing a multi-perspective lens to safeguarding and relational harm.

Zara’s Master’s Degree produced original research focusing on Dual and Counter Allegations, and she is now pursuing a PhD to deepen understanding of how these cases are assessed and responded to across professional settings.

Our approach combines academic rigour with frontline relevance.
